The APAC IT Director's role is to professionalize and manage the IT infrastructure and systems management function in OCS APAC & Middel East countries. The role is based in Singapore and is responsible for building the right capabilities within the regional team of IT and cybersecurity experts. She/He coaches the members to analyze their country’s IT solutions, cost structure, security standards and data optimization.

The ideal candidate will partner with the country organisations to implement the technology roadmap ensuring thorough performance and compliance. He/She will also support the country teams, their managing directors and operations to build sound IT platforms and systems investment decisions. Backed by SAP or Dynamics ERP systems and a business intelligence (BI) tool, this leader will analyze the region’ structure performance and enhance cloud-based solutions so that APAC and Middle East data can easily be accessed, and costs and structure optimized. The IT Business Partner must be passionate about driving results as well as developing plans to support long term growth of the business together with local CFOs and MDs.

-Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience across APAC, together with costs benefits for the region

Infrastructure & Systems Management

-Coordinate the roll out of Dynamics ERP system together with the HRIS system. Liaise with system integrator to ensure successful and timely implementation across the region. Ensure seamless integration of various systems and platforms, providing a unified and cohesive experience across APAC operations
-Oversee the regional IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, data centers, and end-user devices, ensuring optimal performance, adequate uptime and costs optimization. Lead the adoption and optimization of cloud-based solutions for improved system performance and data accessibility

-Ensure robust backup, recovery, and redundancy plans are in place to maintain business continuity across all APAC locations

-Manage vendor relationship and services agreements to optimize costs and service delivery. Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to proactively track performance metrics, identify potential issues. Use analytics and reporting to support data driven decision making

-Develop, lead and optimize the APAC IT budget, ensuring operational needs while identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

Cybersecurity & Compliance

-Lead regional efforts to protect company data and systems, maintaining compliance with local regulations and global security standards

-Implement IT policies and procedures that safeguard digital assets, mitigate risks, and enhance overall security posture

-Collaboration with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to APAC specific data protection requirements

Team Development & Coaching

-Guide and mentor a diverse IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability

-Define team goals, assess skill gaps, and implement development programs that drive high performance

-Promote cross-functional teamwork and communicate effectively with stakeholders across Group, and countries
