Product Manager – for a European MNC leader in electrical components manufacturing and distribution in connectivity technology
The Product Manager oversees the entire product lifecycle, aligning regional objectives with global strategies. The role informs global strategies with local market trends and ensure the global portfolio meets local needs. Key responsibilities include collaborating with regional and global leadership to define target market pricing, implement profitability measures, and coordinate pricing strategies.
Roles
- Steer product launches and manage product lifecycle (PLC)
- Conduct market and competitive analysis, and translate input into product requirements, as well as define product-specific strategies and target market pricing
- Innovate to solve customer problems, integrate new technologies and build a comprehensive business concepts for new product development
- Align regional/local objectives with global strategies and collaborate with Sales, Cluster Managers
- Develop and manage product roadmaps and the 5-Year Integrated Roadmap (5YIR)
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous improvements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales) to ensure product feasibility, quality, and compliance
- Manage product documentation, specifications, and training/support materials for sales teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above preferably in Electrical/industry engineering
- 8-10 years product management experience from electrical component background
- Experience in MNCs working with local, regional and global team
- A collaborator with strong writing, presenting and communication skills
