Position Description
The Compliance Analyst will support the Compliance Manager and wider Compliance team in ensuring a continuous and robust compliance program is followed at JERAGM.
The compliance function is primarily responsible for ensuring that an appropriate, robust, and practical global compliance framework is in place. The function develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and processes to ensure that the business and functions comply with rules and regulations applicable to our business. The compliance function also provides advisory support and training to ensure all areas of the business are compliant.

The compliance function is primarily responsible for ensuring that an appropriate, robust, and practical global compliance framework is in place. The function develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and processes to ensure that the business and functions comply with rules and regulations applicable to our business. The compliance function also provides advisory support and training to ensure all areas of the business are compliant.
The Compliance Analyst will work very closely with the Compliance team to deliver JERAGM's compliance program, including but not limited to the areas of:
- Providing ad-hoc advice to the business, including but not limited to Internal policies, external regulations.
- Ongoing development and delivery of the training program, including both face-to-face and e-learnings modules.
- Ongoing maintenance and development of compliance policies and procedures.
- Ongoing monitoring and maintenance of G&E Register.
- Keeping up with the regulatory landscape, and the impact of changes on JERAGM. This also includes providing updates to the Front Office as appropriate.
- Collaborating with the EDF Trading compliance teams as required.
There is also the opportunity to travel in this role.

- Perform Compliance advisory tasks, as required.
- Deliver and develop training.

- Regulatory horizon scanning.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications and Experience
- 2 - 3 years of relevant compliance experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a physical commodities trading environment is strongly preferable due to the nature of work closely related to physical commodities trading.
- It is crucial you are a dynamic and strong self-starter as you will be expected to drive forward your areas of responsibility.
- Strong relationship-management skills and the ability to build enduring partnerships.
- Adaptable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident and effective communicator with professional and approachable manner
- Ability to work under pressure in a trading environment
- In line with the core competencies of the Compliance function, you will maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
