What the role is:This role leads HR policy development at MUIS, with primary responsibility for launching the 2025 MUIS Career Transition Programme (MCTP) through strategic partnerships and career development initiatives. The position also oversees broader HR policy creation and implementation and ensuring alignment with public service guidelines.What you will be working on:Lead the implementation of MCTP across the organisation (launching in 2025):Spearhead the launch and ongoing management of the MCTPDevelop a comprehensive implementation strategy and timelineDesign and coordinate career planning workshops/talks/seminarsCraft formal HR policies to support MCTPEnsure alignment of new policies with existing organisational guidelinesTrain HR staff and line managers on the new policy implementationEstablish and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies and private sector organisationsOrganise networking events to facilitate knowledge sharing and potential placement opportunitiesDevelop partnerships for staff secondment and exchange programmes related to MCTPOther HR Policies:Develop and review other HR policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date, compliant, and aligned with organisational objectives and the Public ServiceLead the implementation of new policies and revisions to existing policies across the organisationProvide expert advice and guidance to senior management on HR policy mattersConduct regular audits of HR policies to ensure compliance and effectiveness.Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure policies support all HR functions effectivelyStay abreast of changes in employment law, public service and best practices in HR policyManage policy-related communications and training programmes for employees and managersHandle complex employee relations issues that involve policy interpretation or applicationPrepare reports on policy effectiveness and recommend improvementsContribute to the overall HR strategy and initiativesOthers:Support the team in any other mattersWhat we are looking for:Tertiary education, preferably in Human Resource, Business Management or equivalentPreferably with at least 3 - 5 years of working experience in the area mentioned above or related fieldAble to work independently as well as in teamsGood communication, written and interpersonal skillsProficient in Excel and able to organise HR dataSuccessful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 4 weeks of the close of the application window.
