The A&CRIS team governs and manages the corporate records and provide information reference services to EDB.We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Workplace & Facilities Management function. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to create an efficient, sustainable, and productive workplace environment while ensuring operational excellence through effective management of integrated facilities management services.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Facilities Management & OperationsLead and oversee the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract, including performance monitoring, service level agreement compliance, and vendor relationship managementDevelop and implement facilities management strategies aligned with organisational objectives and requirementsEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and building codesOversee day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and improvementsDevelop standard operating procedures for efficient workplace managementProject ManagementLead workplace improvement projects, including space optimisation initiatives, capacity planning, seat allocation, office renovation worksCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project successMonitor project timelines, budgets and deliverablesSustainability & ESGDevelop and implement the organisation's sustainability strategy and initiativesLead Green Mark certification efforts and ensure compliance with GreenGovSG requirementsMonitor and report on sustainability metrics and environmental performanceImplement energy efficiency initiatives and green workplace programmesBusiness ContinuityDevelop and maintain business continuity plans for workplace operationsConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategiesLead crisis management efforts related to workplace disruptionsEnsure operational resilience through proper planning and documentationWorkplace Experience & ProgrammingDesign and implement workplace & wellness programmes and initiativesCreate engagement strategies to promote sustainabilityManage workplace policies and procedures related to flexible work desk arrangementsDevelop and implement innovative solutions to enhance workplace experienceLease and Tenancy ManagementOversee lease administration and management of office premises, including lease renewals, terminations, and amendmentsCoordinate with landlords and relevant stakeholders on tenancy matters, including fit-out works and reinstatement requirementsMonitor and manage lease expenses, service charges, and utility costsConduct Cost-Benefit Analysis to identify lease optimal positioning and develop recommendationsAdministrative ServicesDesign and oversee administrative services supporting EDB workplace operations.What we are looking for:To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:Degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related disciplinesMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or related fieldsExperience working in the Singapore government agency in similar role would be an added advantageStrong stakeholder, project and vendor management skillsProven experience in managing IFM contracts and service providersKnowledge of workplace health and safety regulationsExperience with sustainability reporting and ESG initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and writing skillsResults-oriented with attention to detailInnovative mindset with ability to drive continuous improvementExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to work across all levelsSingaporean/Singaporean PRApplications are screened on a rolling basis and applicants may expect to receive an application outcome within 8 weeks of application date.About Economic Development Board:EDB is the lead government agency responsible for planning & executing strategies to enhance Singapore's position as a global business centre and grow the Singapore Economy.
