Position: Reporting to Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • BOM Costing Consolidation: Consolidate Bill of Material (BOM) costs within a specific time period.
  • Alternate Component Proposals: Propose alternate component manufacturer parts (MPN) on BOM.
  • SAP Data Maintenance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the SAP system.
  • Supplier Coordination: Negotiate, escalate issues, and coordinate with suppliers on cost and lead time.
  • Logistics Monitoring: Monitor and coordinate the logistics of components and materials.
  • Stock Management: Conduct stocktaking, re-packing, and labeling of received components and materials.
  • Quality Liaison: Handle Return Material Authorisation and quality rejects with suppliers.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Maintain the office’s material holding and inventory storage area.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage relationships with suppliers on all commercial issues.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or relevant field.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or supply chain within EMS/CM sectors.
  • Market Knowledge: Good knowledge of the EMS electronic market and competitors is an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.
