Hyphens Pharma is looking for an IT Executive to join our growing team! As an IT Executive, you will be reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible to support IT matters effectively and consistently for offices across the entire Hyphens Group.
Job Description
- Troubleshooting and Ticket Management: Resolve user support tickets in the helpdesk system, ensuring all issues and incidents are accurately logged and tracked until resolution within the established Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Server Administration: Administer and maintain server hardware and software, including virtualization technologies and Windows Active Directory.
- Project Support: Collaborate with team members in the IT department to assist in the implementation of IT projects.
- Network Device Management: Manage and support network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Data Security: Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Issue Escalation: Follow standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Research and identify solutions for software and hardware-related issues.
- System Management: Oversee CCTV, door access systems, and other in-house systems.
- User Assistance: Quickly assess user needs and provide relevant support.
- Procurement: Handle purchasing functions for IT products and services.
- Documentation: Document technical knowledge in manuals and user guides.
- Asset Management: Ensure that traceable fixed assets are properly tagged and logged.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors on outsourcing projects as needed.
Job Requirement
- Minimum diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Support or Helpdesk Engineer, with expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting for end users on desktops/laptops, software applications, hardware environments, and platforms used by the business.
- Familiarity with Hyper-V, various Windows operating systems, and Windows Server.
- Ability to manage Active Directory, DNS, access points, and various network equipment.
- Experience coordinating hardware failures with maintenance service providers for part replacement and installation.
- Proficient in installing and maintaining virtual machines with hands-on experience in Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while being a collaborative team player when necessary for projects.
- Strong understanding of various Microsoft 365 applications, Azure, and Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as VBS, Java, Python, SQL, and various web content management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and Power BI is a plus.
