
Pre-Sales Consultant

Our products secure customers’ desktop data, emails, databases, application data. Together with our Application Control software, SecureAge offers a unique and very effective cyber defense to keep confidential data at-rest, in-use and in-transit. Our Endpoint protection technology prevents cyber attacks such as ransomware, zero- day and file-less attacks.
The successful candidate must be based in Singapore and is responsible for pre-sales activities pertaining to encryption of desktop and server data. This includes leading the proof-of-concept testing with customers, partners, conduct hands-on training, technical solution proposal, and compliance to RFQs and tenders.
Job Description:
Proof-of-Concept & Solution Architecting (40%)
- Gather Customer’s data security requirements, data workflow, used cases and solution compelling SecureAge value-proposition to meet customers’ goals. This includes solutioning with SecureAge ecosystem technologies such as IAM, and key management security.
- Conduct Proof-of-Concepts on all SecureAge solutions for potential customers and partners.
- Present Comparative/Competitive analysis to prove SecureAge a competitive-edge
Training & Enabling (40%)
- Create, Develop and Customize clear and concise training presentations to enable Distributors, resellers and customers’ technical teams, relevant to their specific opportunities’ cyber security requirements.
- Organize technical hands-on training to channel partners + selected customers
- Product presentation + product demos at events.
- Co-author with Sales team on Technical proposals for tenders and on customer’s requests.
- To become the Subject-matter-expert for all SecureAge products in assigned territories.
- Lead, Train and Guide regional presales team in their in-country pre-post sales requirements and to become the conduit of technical support escalation with HQ developers, QA and support engineers.
Post-Sales Customers Activities (10%)
- Work closely with Support engineers in the delivery of Professional Services for customer’s Projects in order to transit between presales customer gathering to deployment team.
- Take ownership on customers’ successful deployment through monitoring the Professional Services-to-Project handover cycle, updating sales team on status and challenges.
- Oversee project implementation locally and regionally.
- To achieve and overachieve yearly KPI and sales targets.
SKILLS - Candidate will be successful if you have 50% of the following:
- System administration (Windows/Active Directory, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V)
- Database management (MSSQL, MySQL, DAM)
- Network management (switches, routers, firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Endpoint protection (Antivirus, Encryption, IAM)
- Good-to-have: OS hardening and vulnerability assessment
- Good-to-have: Programming/Scripting (VBA, C#.Net, Java, PowerShell, Python)
- Good-to-have: Data storage (SAN, NAS) and backup
Candidates who do not have 50% the requirement above, but who have the right work attitude and with a strong passion in learning cybersecurity will be considered.
Must-Have Critical Requirements
- Excellent Presentation and training skills.
- Min. 4 years in presales work in SI or vendor environment in systems or network or cybersecurity management tools
- Only Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents will be considered.
Education Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or any engineering discipline
- At least 2 industry security certifications - CCNA, CISSP, CompTia Security, CISA, CISM, CEH, CompTia Security A+
