Job Description:The Associate Psychologist will assist in providing psychological services under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist within the Psychology department and will require adherence to all relevant hospital policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines. The role involves supporting the assessment, treatment, and care of patients with mental health conditions.Key Responsibilities:To deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to patients with routine psychological conditions, under the guidance of senior psychologists.Assist in conducting routine psychological assessments, including administering and scoring psychometric tests and writing reports to communicate their findings under supervision.To assist in the running of therapy or support groups for patients and/ or caregivers, when required.Maintain accurate and timely clinical and administrative records.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.Assist in developing psychoeducational materials, e.g. for patients and caregivers, for talks and trainings.Contribute to research projects and service evaluation activities within the department when necessary.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in psychology with good honours.Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in another language commonly spoken in Singapore (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) is required.Relevant internship or work experience in a clinical or healthcare setting will be beneficial.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong organizational and time management skills.
