Job Description

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for initiating and managing IT projects related to the enhancement, upgrade, migration, and integration of various application systems such as Workday, ADP, and other payroll applications. These projects aim to support global business operations in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will leverage effective project management practices, working collaboratively with various divisions and cross-functional teams worldwide to deliver cost-effective implementations that exceed stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Define project scope, assess impact, and determine implementation approaches, schedules, budgets, and resource needs in collaboration with global stakeholders.

-Actively collaborate with stakeholders in a consultative role, eliciting business and technical requirements, and help prioritize implementations aligned with IT strategies.

-Communicate effectively, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability when working with global teams across different time zones and cultures in a dynamic environment.

-Manage multiple projects (internal, external, and across multiple divisions) simultaneously, ensuring regular monitoring and reporting while delivering on time and within budget.

-Lead teams to resolve all program/project issues and constraints, effectively communicate, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts in close coordination with team members and leadership.

-Develop and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitate all project gate reviews, and escalate issues as needed to meet project milestones and goals.

-Actively manage project scope and changes in alignment with business priorities, identify risks and issues, prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters proactively, and ensure successful project completion with minimal guidance, often under deadline pressures.

-Provide regular status updates to the Leadership and Management team, consistently striving to improve outcomes.

-Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to take on new priority projects as communicated.

Key Skills:-At least 7-10 years of experience as an IT project manager, including a minimum of 4 years in payroll implementation and Workday integrations, along with other payroll application integrations supporting global businesses and teams.

-Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or 10 years of experience in Information Technology projects.

-Proven experience in supporting end-to-end payroll system implementation, with at least one full-scale payroll system implementation completed.

-Strong communication skills, capable of delivering formal presentations to various management levels, articulating project status, risk mitigations, benefits, and financial realizations.

-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members with diverse personal styles, focusing on the right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.

-Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential.

-Experience in integration projects, working with globally distributed business groups (EMEA, US regions), and delivering projects on schedule and within budget in a matrix and cross-functional team environment.
