
Strategy and Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Strategy and Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, identifying business growth opportunities, and developing long-term business relationships. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market analysis, and relationship-building skills to enhance the company's growth and competitive positioning in the marketplace.
Key Responsbilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement the company’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with overall business goals
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging markets.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies to expand brand presence and revenue streams.
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Take ownership of all B2B sales initiatives, driving revenue growth and expanding market reach.
- Identify and establish key partnerships and new business opportunities to strengthen the company’s market position.
- Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Expand the company’s presence in existing markets while exploring new market verticals.
Global Distributorship Expansion
- Explore and establish global distributorship opportunities for Stryv and Bback, increasing brand footprint.
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard international distributors to enhance global reach.
- Ensure all distribution agreements align with the company’s strategic goals.
Strategic Partnerships with IP Owners
- Build and nurture relationships with regional IP owners to explore licensing and collaboration opportunities.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements to drive brand value and revenue.
- Work cross-functionally to develop innovative product offerings based on IP partnerships.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends and provide insights and recommendations for product, service, and market innovations.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, key partners, clients, and investors.
- Ensure alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders on strategic priorities.
Project Management & Execution
- Lead and oversee strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and impact.
- Monitor progress, track KPIs, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or sales, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods.
- Strong track record in B2B sales, global distribution, and strategic partnerships.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a passion for business growth.
