As part of our growing team, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the development of a digital platform designed to develop and finance carbon credit projects. This role will contribute to scaling climate action in critical geographies for global carbon markets.
Role Summary
The Business Analyst will be responsible to identify customer business problems, elicit business requirements and find the most effective solution. You will work closely with internal and external teams ensuring the product meets the unique requirements of customers.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Understand business needs and translate them into requirements specifications or user stories.
- Conduct user requirement scoping, and analysis, involving functional, integration, and non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with technical solution teams to assess feasibility, propose solution options and recommendation to address business and operational needs.
- Deliver functional design including workflow analysis, prototypes, business logic flowchart and interface mapping.
- Provide requirement and functional design clarifications to delivery team members throughout the delivery process.
- Plan and conduct internal UAT based on business workflow and user scenarios.
- Plan and conduct training to end users, and internal support teams as required.
- Support post-production deployment verification for any product feature release.
- Provide insights into the needs of customers and translate them into platform features.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have
- Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in Consulting, Fintech, or Climate Tech industry.
- Proficient in Requirements Gathering, Configuration & Development, SIT, UAT, Training, Go-Live Support and Application support to users.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to understand and articulate business problem statement and use cases concisely.
- Self-motivated and able to take direction and work resourcefully and independently.
- Have good communication and writing skills.
- Be able and willing to understand new technologies quickly.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with financial institutions, NGOs, or consulting firms in the climate or sustainability space.
- Familiarity with AI tools, data analytics, or other advanced technologies.
