The Degree Programmes (DP) team at INSEAD is dedicated to delivering world-class educational experiences across our renowned MBA, EMBA, and specialized Master's/Executive Master's programmes. Encompassing key areas such as Admissions, the Career Development Centre (CDC), Student Life, and Programmes Management, the team works collaboratively to attract top talent, support participants' professional growth, and create a vibrant and engaging experience. INSEAD is seeking a Director, Careers Delivery to join our Degree Programmes Department. This is a full-time, permanent position based at either our Asia Campus in Singapore or Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

About The Job

Reporting to the Executive Director, Career Development Centre, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to all CDC stakeholders while maintaining process efficiency. You will lead a dynamic, cross-campus team that champions and leverages technology adoption across stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the broader DP student engagement strategy.

Your role within the team

  • Drive process efficiencies across CDC, ensuring seamless integration with broader DP/institutional systems and strategies.
  • Lead the adoption of technological tools to enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder experience including working with Digital Team to develop and enhance CDC platforms (Career Management, Customer Relations Management or CRM, Learning Management System or LMS) while ensuring effective integration of technology solutions into work processes. Serve as a knowledge hub for operational expertise including adopting solutions from the broader institution, ensuring best practices are disseminated across CDC.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, participants, alumni, employers, and other departments.
  • Oversee the execution of careers workshop programming and events with world-class excellence. Collaborate with the Campus Recruitment Team to share and implement best practices across all campuses.
  • Create and execute a cohesive careers journey communication plan that integrates with the overall student communication strategy at the Student Engagement level.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of CDC workshops and events, collaborating closely with the Master Scheduling team. Craft relevant scheduling principles where appropriate.
  • Identify, monitor and analyze key indicators related to CDC activities, performance metrics, and career outcomes to assess effectiveness, draw insights, and inform decision-making.
  • Support the development and management of the CDC budget, ensuring cost control (including procurement management) and effective allocation of resources to meet operational and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Certifications in lean management, Six Sigma, project management (e.g., PMP), or data analytics are preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a professional services, higher education, or similar service-oriented setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in leading teams across multiple locations, with a strong focus on building collaborative and effective cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using data to inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, lean principles, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Strong quantitative analytic skills (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Able to foster a collaborative environment, encourage open communication, and promote cooperation within the team distributed across the globe and culturally diverse.
  • Able to challenge team members to continuously innovate and find new ways to meet evolving client needs, balancing service excellence with operational efficiency .
