Responsibilities include:

Experiential Design

  • Work with the Chief Creative Officer and creative team leads to set an overall direction and concept for each creative project, ensuring alignment with brand identity, project objectives and audience engagement goals.
  • Oversee the design of all experiential aspects of the brand, including but not limited to packaging design, spatial design and storytelling, and technology integration.
  • Design creative, original and engaging user-centric experiences that drive the brand’s vision and resonate with audiences and users.
  • Create detailed design plans, sketches, and prototypes for interactive installations, packaging, and other experiential projects, creating prototypes and utilising relevant tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software to best visualise and communicate ideas.
  • Explore the incorporation of relevant emerging technologies, such as augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR) and other interactive elements to enhance the immersive nature of the customer journey and experience.
  • Consider sustainable design practices and materials to minimise environmental impact in experiential design projects, while still achieving the brand’s objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Design, Visual Merchandising and Store Build, to ensure seamless integration of design elements and successful implementation of experiential projects.
  • Actively stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and works produced by change-makers in the industry in relation to the brand.
  • Ensure that all creative assets are properly archived and stored - physically and/or digitally.

Management

  • Build, train, and lead a team of Experiential Designers to ensure brand alignment across the HQ and various markets, and to design in accordance with brand guidelines and requirements.
  • Work closely with the creative team leads to brainstorm on and determine the style of each packaging design, campaign, and/or project.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with cross-functional team leads in ensuring that all design elements are executed on time, within set budgets, and to the highest standards of quality.

Requirements include:

  • Degree in Product/Industrial Design or similar fields.
  • Minimally 5-6 years working in a similar creative role in a similar brand/retail/lifestyle concept.
  • Must be forward thinking and embrace creative innovation in the digital space.
  • Ability and proven track record of leading and building a high performing creative team.
  • Strategically strong - understand the needs of the Company and constantly strive to improve the customer experience and brand image.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and management skills with a proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines.
