Duties & Responsibilities

  • To submit quotation to customer based on Schedule of Rate or Star Rate;
  • To source for quotations from specialists/ sub-contractors/ suppliers, prepare comparison, negotiate, and award contracts;
  • To prepare payment response to the subcontractors’ monthly claim, monthly progress claim, certify subcontractors’ progress payments, prepare variation orders, finalize accounts;
  • To administer contracts of all values and ensure that they are completed within budget;
  • To ensure proper documentation of all records;
  • To review and advise Operation Manager or Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specifications;
  • To monitor and ensure delivery of materials are in accordance with contractual requirements;
  • To coordinate site issues including procurement of materials from the suppliers;
  • To liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, and internal departments in resolving technical issues.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma and/or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
  • Min 2 years working experience, inclusive 1 year in Government Project;
  • Able to commence work immediately of within short notice preferred.
