We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Operation Manager / Lead in Jurong Pilot Plant on a 3-year fixed term contract. This role will report to the Director of Jurong Pilot Plant.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing production activities across the site, including quality and process improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of Operators and Logistic Technicians within the Jurong Pilot Plant and be accountable for their overall staff development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and technical support to the process operations group to ensure that campaign start-up time and completion targets are met.
Support chemistry campaigns, ensuring that the needs of customers within the supply chain are met.
Drive optimisation programmes to improve cycle-time for both process operation and process changeovers.
Ensure GMP/EHS compliance, including fronting Quality / EHS / Regulatory inspections, action close-outs etc.
Documentation approval for both pre and post execution process, therefore accountable for final decision to process on plant as designed.
Lead development of the process operations group to ensure their competency.
Streamline plant operations to allow chemistry to be run in a safe and controlled manner and for optimum plant performance/efficiency.
Manage and coordinate the EHS Council process
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Associate degree
10 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, covering a broad range of activities and operations (e.g. Production, Engineering)
Experience delivering improvement and change initiatives using continuous improvement methodologies
Demonstrated delivery of production and budget plans in a highly regulated environment
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following skills, it would be a plus:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in managing Logistic (Incoming and outgoing) and Warehouse
Prior experience with training and coaching of employees
Experience with project planning and execution management
Display high performance behaviors
