Responsibilities
- Perform outbound telesales calls to market and sell Company's personal insurance products
- Create and maintain proper customer information, calls and sales records
- Perform any after call functions to complete the cycle of the call
- Answer telephone calls, attend to telephone queries from customers and direct such calls to Customer Service where necessary
- Ensure confidentiality of data in the manner and to the extent required by the Company and/or the Bank
- Ensures business handled is in line with the Company's underwriting guidelines and comply with all law, regulatory and audit requirements
- Provide feedback and suggestions on programmes handled to improve and/or enhance existing and future telemarketing programmes
- Deputise as Team Leader in the absence of the Telemarketing manager
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
- GCE ‘O' level preferably with professional insurance qualification
- Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI) and HI
- Good product knowledge of GI personal lines products
- Knowledge of telesales operation
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skill
- Resourceful with strong problem solving skills
- Confident in demeanour, able to handle challenging situations with maturity & confidence
- Experience in telesales
- Experience in insurance products
