Job Category: InternsJob Description:Role PurposeMain roles and job scope will be supporting Director of Finance, New Hotel Openings - SEAK & JAPAC with a range of strategic projects, day to day monitor the pre-opening progress to help achieve the opening successful.Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate and manage the regular meeting cadences with new opening hotels' GM & DOF, take meeting minutes and action follow ups;
  • Create and maintain the dashboard for each pre-opening hotels to monitor the progress and document the critical info required for the hotel's opening;
  • Prepare the pre-opening budget, work closely with hotel team on the budget execution on a monthly basis;
  • Support on Accounts Receivable collection
  • Involve & assist in various new initiatives & key projects around streamline finance pre-opening process, tools enhancement, standardization and compliance requirements;
  • Support and drive alignment with internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes and deliver the team objectives;
Identify process improvement opportunities and support the delivery of improvements in processes, systems, controls and procedures.Key Skills & ExperiencesEducation - Undergraduate in Business Management or Hospitality, preferably in their final year of undergrad studiesExperience - Prior internship experience within another Hotel Management Company, Consulting and/or Real Estate advisory firmsTechnical Skills and Knowledge -
  • Desire to learn and be challenged to learn new skills
  • Conscientious with an eye for details
  • Proactive and works with a sense of purpose and urgency
  • Ability to work on projects independently
  • Confidence in generating new ideas or ways to approach work assigned
  • Good project management skills, detail oriented and communicates progress
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a Team Player
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word applications
  • Preferable: Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
