We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team in Singapore. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in application development, cloud-native architecture, and agile practices. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for solving complex business problems through scalable and innovative technology solutions, while also leading and guiding development teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams and product owners to conceptualize and design solution architecture.
- Oversee and ensure the implementation aligns with proposed solutions and designs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, including technical advice and code reviews.
- Promote cloud-native and agile development practices such as TDD and automated CI/CD.
- Support QA teams in test automation and help identify potential technical risks and challenges.
- Align reusable component designs with other architects for consistency and efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams (Infrastructure, Enterprise, Applications, Security) to set up environments, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and resolve deployment issues.
- Lead exploratory work and build prototypes for emerging solutions and innovation opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in application design, development, and business analysis.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture and integration patterns.
- Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, complex applications.
- Hands-on expertise in technologies such as .Net, Java, React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with multi-paradigm programming languages.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum development environments and methodologies.
- Knowledge of security standards and experience with OAuth2/OpenID Connect protocols.
- Solid experience in containerization, microservices architecture, and DevSecOps.
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments; AWS certification is an added advantage.
- Understanding of SRE, service, security, and compliance management processes including change, incident, and problem management on cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
