About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented Senior Applciation Delivery Manager to lead and manage multiple IT Development and Application Support (ASM) teams in a high-paced, outsourced environment within the BFSI domain.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in delivery management, ITIL practices, and technical operations, along with a strategic understanding of the BFSI industry. You'll be responsible for delivering operational excellence, driving customer satisfaction, and managing P&L for key client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale development and support teams (100+ FTEs) in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
- Manage end-to-end service delivery with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Implement and oversee ITIL-based service management processes.
- Handle service recovery situations and proactively manage client expectations.
- Deliver projects within fixed-price engagements managing scope, schedule, and budgets effectively.
- Oversee the full delivery lifecycle including transition planning, execution, and stabilization.
- Maintain strong engagement with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
- Participate in RFP processes, contributing from a delivery and transition planning standpoint.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency within teams.
- Provide thought leadership in digital transformation, data analytics, and emerging IT technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in IT Delivery and Account Management.
- Strong BFSI domain experience especially in Retail Banking and Payments.
- Proven success in managing multi-ethnic, multi-geo teams.
- Strong command over project management methodologies Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, Iterative.
- Experience managing IT outsourcing contracts and understanding commercial models.
- Familiarity with RFP/Bid processes, due diligence, and transitioning from incumbent vendors.
- Strong technical acumen in modern IT areas Digital, Data/Analytics, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and deliver on financial and operational goals.
Preferred Qualifications / Good to Have:
- Exposure to transformation programs and change management.
- Experience in handling managed services and strategic outsourcing.
- Ability to handle high-pressure client environments and deliver measurable outcomes.
