RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Account Hunting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Malaysia market, leveraging market insights to target high-potential clients and industries. Customer Success Management:Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, and provide tailored solutions to drive value from the Emplifive platform, ensuring client satisfaction. Identifying opportunities to drive revenue by proactively pitching and guiding clients to launch influencer marketing campaigns and/or subscribe. Providing support and guidance to clients for their campaigns, and/or use of the platform. Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, leveraging market insights to identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration. Market and Competitor Research: Continuously research market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to enhance sales strategies, improve product knowledge, and identify new business opportunities. Product Feedback and Advocacy: Gather feedback from clients and prospects on product features, functionality, and usability, and provide insights to inform product development and enhancements. Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, and share market insights and thought leadership internally and externally to position Emplifive as a trusted advisor in the Malaysia market. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams on strategy, operations, and account management to optimize workflows, improve client outcomes, and drive overall business growth. Others: Assist in ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
JOB OVERVIEW:As the member of the Emplifive team in Malaysia, you will take on a multifaceted role for Business Development and Customer Success. In addition to the traditional responsibilities of driving customer success and managing accounts, you will also play a pivotal role in guiding our market direction.
KEY REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience of 2+ years in sales and customer-facing and account management roles. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up or SME environment, embracing adaptability, innovation, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and to “get your hands dirty”. Not afraid to try new things and have a growth mindset towards failure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving targets. Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Full-time availability. Bilingual - Proficient in English and Mandarin ADDED ADVANTAGE: Experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing/management, or tech sales is a plus. Good understanding of the Malaysia market, including trends, competitors, and customer behaviors. Existing industry networks that can be leveraged for business growth is a plus. Full-time
