Key Responsibilities:
Interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to produce precise mesh layout/shop drawings.
Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and mesh cutting/fabrication lists based on project requirements.
Optimize mesh design to suit manufacturing constraints and reduce wastage (standard vs custom mesh).
Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar) to generate detailed mesh drawings.
Liaise with consultants, engineers, and site personnel to clarify requirements and resolve drawing discrepancies.
Translate project timelines into production and delivery plans.
Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, QA/QC) to align supply chain activities.
Track inventory of standard and special meshes to avoid shortfalls or overstocking.
Monitor actual usage on-site and update forecasts to improve accuracy and minimize wastage.
Plan and schedule deliveries to meet Just-in-Time (JIT) requirements, minimizing on-site storage.
Machine Operator
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor automated precast production machinery
Load and unload materials such as steel mesh, rebar, formwork, and concrete into designated machines or stations.
Follow daily production schedules and work instructions to ensure output meets design specifications.
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on machinery to reduce downtime and detect abnormalities.
Record machine parameters and production data using digital tools (e.g., tablets, MES systems, RFID tracking).
Assist the QA/QC team in verifying dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and tolerance compliance.
Ensure machinery operates according to WSH and MOM safety guidelines, wearing proper PPE and using lock-out/tag-out when needed.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, lean manufacturing, and digital upgrades.
