Responsibilities:
Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining machinery, equipment, systems both mechanically and electrically.
Faulty equipment will either be repaired onsite or transported back to the workshop.
Perform preventive and predictive technical maintenance.
Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
To monitor and control maintenance costs, track the costs of labor, supplies, and equipment repairs.
Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
Work to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; complete tasks in a timely manner.
Liaise with OEM, external vendor and operation executives on equipment repair status.
Adhere to EHS compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum ITE Higher NITEC/NTC2 in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience is a must.
Must have valid class 3 driving license.
Basic computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Preferably able to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
