Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy across regional and international markets. The successful candidate will drive revenue generation through identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding our network within the arts and cultural sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for art exhibitions and wholesale clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with galleries, museums, institutions, art consultants, and corporate clients.
- Develop strategic plans for market expansion and sales growth in alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with curators, artists, and internal teams to tailor offerings to client needs and market demand.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close commercial deals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field. Degrees in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related disciplines are preferred.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or client management—experience in the arts, culture, or creative industries is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving revenue and building partnerships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Passion or strong interest in the arts and cultural sectors.
