Key Responsibilities

  • Program in-charge for Airport Speciality Equipment/Ground Support Equipment and Vehicles’ procurement and refurbishment programs.
  • Engineer in-charge for GSE specifications, manufacturing quality, factory acceptance test results, material
  • Manage project risks and ensure alignment across procurement, sustainability (electrification), refurbishment activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including company top management
  • Monitor overall program performance and ensure milestones are met within budget and timelines.
  • Study equipment performance and operators’ inputs, develop design, performance and technical specifications, check development and manufacture to ensure quality and fit-for-purpose equipment
  • Assume Chair/Dy Chair of procurement technical evaluation committees

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Masters preferred) with relevant senior technical and management experience (10 years or more) in defining and managing large procurement, refurbishment or maintenance programs done by service providers and in-house technical crew. Planning to cover logistics support definitisation (including master material data, training design, acceptance tests, spares/inventory provisioning)
  • Assume Engineer In-Charge/Deputy Engineer in-charge roles to define, evaluate and assess engineering/operational specifications and activities for design, manufacture and refurbishment workscope and tasks carried out on Aviation Ground Support Equipment/Airport Specialty Equipment and vehicles, to ensure performance, safety, quality and optimized total cost of ownership.
  • Possess relevant domain knowledge of aviation ground operations, or ground handling, or aviation maintenance, or in land transport , or in industrial equipment fleet management (mechanical, hydraulics, electronic controls, internal combustion engines, electrification) and technologies (predictive/condition monitoring, automation, autonomous).
  • Able to work on occasional weekend/public holidays as required.
  • State Class 3 driving license and able to attain SATS higher class driving licenses (Class 4 and 5) to operate airport specialty equipment is advantageous
