Our client is a leader in the Energy industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Technical & Support Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical and support operations across residential, commercial, and industrial gas segments, ensuring alignment with regulatory and safety standards. Drive strategic initiatives, lead process improvements, and monitor service quality to meet organizational goals.
  • Manage and mentor team leaders overseeing engineers, technicians, and support staff. Support workforce planning, scheduling, and staff development while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Ensure effective resolution of customer technical issues, service requests, and escalations. Collaborate with customer service teams to incorporate technical insights into service enhancements.
  • Identify workflow and operational inefficiencies, update SOPs and safety protocols, and guide managers in using service data to implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and licensing conditions. Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments while promoting awareness of proper procedures and PPE usage.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to support project execution and ensure smooth service delivery. Provide regular updates, performance reports, and resource planning insights to senior management.
  • Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure work quality and adherence to specifications. Monitor inventory of technical tools and equipment, and recommend technology upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Min Degree in Mechanical Engineer, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in technical operations or field support
  • Knowledgable in gas distribution systems, end-user installations, and technical support processes would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of industry standards and tools such as ITIL, ISO, Six Sigma, CMMS, and relevant compliance requirements.
