Role Description

This is a freelance role for a urdu tranlator at Elite Asia. The urdu transcriber will be responsible for providing translation services between Urdu and English languages. It is important for the translation to accurately convey the meaning and tone of spoken words in Urdu languages (on the documents) and write it on English

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Urdu and English languages
  • Must be based in Singapore
  • Relevant certification, degree and experience in transcription,translation or related field is a plus
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Knowledge of Urdu cultures and customs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain neutral and professional in sensitive situations
  • Flexible schedule and availability for freelance work
