Job Description:
The objective of the Compute Category GTM Business Manager is to drive incremental revenue and margin growth of the HPE Compute business across the APAC, China and Japan Geographies.
In this role you will work closely with the APAC, China and Japan Geo Compute Category teams on the Compute 4Ps Business Planning and Business Management, securing the optimum portfolio mix, profitability and revenue growth. You will coordinate the NPI Launch and EoL initiatives, guaranteeing the best-in-class product lifecycle.
You will also lead the rollout of Compute-focused strategic programs across the Geos, with the goal to protect and expand HPE Installed Base and to Hunt new customers, with Compute solutions and Integrated Sales Plays., deployment and adoption of these initiatives and representing the Geo needs in the Central WW category forums.
What you will do:
- Lead the Business Planning and Business Management process with the Compute Category teams across the assigned Geos aligned with the Compute Category Revenue and Margin goals
- Provide advisory and support to the Asia Geo Compute Category teams with key insights on market and product trends, competitive landscape, as part of the business management process
- Analyse weekly trends of core Compute Category KPIs for informed business management, with a dedicated focus on the portfolio mix, profitability, revenue growth and channel health metrics. This is performed across the Compute HW, SW and Services portfolio.
- Act as the main point of WW Compute Category contact for NPI launch, adoption and EOL execution across the Geos
- Drive widespread adoption of Compute Sales Plays/Demand Gen Programs across the Geos and represent the Geos local market requirements in WW Compute Category and BU forums.
- Share examples of Best Practice with peers in the Business Management team to support problem solving and growth of the Compute business
- Advocate for the Geos to secure support (resources, funding, assets, enablement, etc) to grow the Compute business, and drive accountability with Geos on tracking and reporting ROI
- Identify potential opportunities for Geo-specific Pilot Category Programs
- Engage closely with Geo category team and on COM targets, challenges, support needed, etc
What you need to bring:
- Deep understanding of assigned Geos’ Compute and AI market, with a strong understanding of IT industry
- HPE Compute offerings knowledge and understanding ,
- Established ability to work across functions and seniority levels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution tracking and budget management,
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, Adaptability to change
Ideal Education and Experience:
- BA or BSc in Business / Marketing / Computer Science (MA, MSc, MBA a plus)
- 7+ years’ experience in Business Development / Sales / Marketing / Go-To-Market
- Project Management experience preferred
- Experience working with virtual teams
- Language Requirements: English (required), local language (preferred)
