Summary

The Analyst, Renewable Energy Solutions APAC plays an important role working with project managers to prepare and execute our renewable energy related assessment/advisory projects to new and existing C&I Customers, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment and effective coordination. The analyst will also be involved in electricity market research, renewable energy project financial analysis and policy update monitoring, etc. In this fast growing industry, World Kinect APAC provides an employee friendly, international and hybrid working environment. The analyst will be working with a highly experienced multi-national team, providing expertise to international companies to achieve their decarbonization plan in Asia Pacific region. The analyst is able to work remotely partially depending on the actual demand of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance the design of renewable energy related assessment/advisory projects, including scope of work, schedule and deliverables
  • Support the identification and prospecting of existing customers and potential new clients for our renewable energy solutions
  • Support internal teams to deliver renewable energy related assessment/advisory projects
  • Support the negotiation and execution of enabling agreements between clients and developers of utility scale renewable energy projects
  • Support the negotiation and execution of enabling agreements between clients and developers of Onsite renewable and other distributed energy projects
  • Engage, synthesise and collaborate with functional teams on programs for optimal success
  • Track and report on delivery and performance against project timeline and progress.
  • Deliver the day-to-day management of the client relationship for products and services.
  • Support business development and commercial activities where required, providing expertise and input to proposals including renewable energy developers relationship building.
  • Support international data analysis teams on project financial modelling
  • Prepare presentation or analysis materials for Customer or internal team requirements
  • Be accountable for Customer success, delivery excellence and program performance.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Renewable Energy market trends, opportunities and new technologies and applying a customer lens and viewpoint.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering, Economics, Finance or Sustainability or similar
  • 3+ years of energy or renewable energy experience [solar PV, onshore or offshore wind and other technologies]. Including project development experience, project finance, corporate PPA’s and/or Corporate Energy procurement.
  • Good understanding of global renewable energy incentives and regulatory structures
  • Strong problem-solving, mathematical, basic understanding of financial modelling and organizational skills
  • Fluent English communication ability, business level Japanese, Korean, Chinese or other Asian language skills will be a huge plus to communicate with regional team
