Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician (12 months Contract, Renewable)

Venue: Bendemeer

Working Hours: 12 hr rotating shift (day & night)



Responsibilities:

Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
Perform Preventive Maintenance and necessary equipment calibrations
Be responsible for meeting shift critical metric (Key Performance Indicators) ensuring equipment operating in specified performance levels
Prepare shift reports and conduct shift passdowns
Lead CIP (Continuous Improvement Projects) with fellow team members

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or automation-related fields
Certificates from technical or vocational education with relevant course of study preferably relevant to automation-related fields
Preferably with 2 years of working experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
Self-starter, inquisitive and hands-on attitude with safety mentality
Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift (every 2 weeks rotating)
