The Account Executive is responsible for managing the full set of accounts, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and accounts payable. The role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong accounting knowledge and the ability to ensure accurate and timely financial processing in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Due to regulatory constraints on work permits for foreign nationals, this position is open to local applicants only.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Set of Accounts Management
- Prepare and maintain full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and financial statements for the subsidiaries.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
Accounts Payable Management
- Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure proper authorization before payment.
- Schedule and prepare payments via cheques, online banking, or other approved methods.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all payments and ensure timely disbursements.
Accounts Receivables Management
- Issue customer invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely collections.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST, corporate tax, and other statutory filings.
- Work closely with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies for compliance and audit matters.
Other Accounting Functions
- Maintain proper documentation of accounting records and ensure data integrity.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Provide support in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,200.00 per month
