About the role

Join the dynamic sales team at UTOP Paints (Singapore) PTE. LTD as a Sales Executive for our marine and industrial coating division. In this full-time role with commission pay, you will be responsible for driving new business development. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships, you will play a crucial part in expanding our client base and market share.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the marine and industrial coating sectors
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and quotes
  • Negotiate and secure new contracts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve ambitious growth targets
  • Maintain accurate records and provide detailed sales reports

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the marine or industrial coatings industry. But candidates with no experience are willing to learn and work hard may also to apply
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Technical aptitude and the capacity to understand complex products and applications
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software
