
Senior Accounts Associate - Accounting Services

We are looking for a highly driven individual capable of learning and working independently in doing full sets of accounts and other business support functions on behalf of our clients. The successful candidate will see exciting secondment opportunities to various client offices, and must possess a high level of professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.
The Senior Associate ensures that the client organisation's finance function is well organised and is responsible for producing timely and accurate financial statements and management accounts, thus achieving compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
He/She will also be leading a small team of accounting specialists & assistants, and will play an important role in resource planning as well as the growth and development of the team members. Where required, he/she will be working closely with the internal and external auditors, bankers, and regulators of our clients.
Candidates with relevant/more experience or background education could be considered for a Assistant Manager role.
Job Requirements
- Perform full set accounting and prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
- Calculate taxable income and the income tax liabilities of client organisations.
- Compile accurate tax-related information for the client organisations.
- Perform statutory filings on clients’ behalf, such as GST returns and CPF submissions.
- Perform payroll and leave administrator duties on clients’ behalf.
- Advise clients on policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors.
- Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivables to help client organisations determine working capital needs and funding strategies.
- Operate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process where required.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
- Provide accurate and timely tax and financial reports to the relevant authorities.
- Reconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organisations financial transactions.
- Resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings.
- Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings.
The Candidate
- Candidate must preferably possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, corporate services, GST, tax, tax filing, excel (VBA, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero, payroll2U a plus)
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,200.00 - $3,800.00 per month
