Area Sales Specialist

As an Area Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include driving sales growth for Össur products, identifying new opportunities, and establishing contacts to expand the market. You will be responsible for developing and presenting effective sales strategies, as well as implementing key initiatives in your designated region. A major part of your role will involve executing sales strategies to meet targets and objectives, while also fostering relationships with various (clinical) decision-makers to grow the company’s customer base and market share.

In our diverse work environment, English is the primary language for all business communications and operations.

The designated territory for this role covers Singapore and Malaysia, with the potential for future growth into a regional position across Southeast Asia.

Organizational Structure

As part of Össur Southeast Asia, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager (SEA). This is a remote position covering the territories of Singapore and Malaysia, with the potential to evolve into a regional role within Southeast Asia in the future.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed annual sales targets and objectives.

· Implementing the business unit strategy in the area, ensuring profitability of the unit.

• Make sales presentations to key accounts to elicit use of Össur prosthetic products and achieve sales goals.

• Organize, develop and deliver sales and training seminars through workshops, presentations, product demos, and informational sessions to Hospitals, clinics and partners in line with sales strategy

• Identify and develop relationships with key healthcare professionals, key accounts and partners

• Performs other duties as required.

• Travel within SEA is expected at least 30% of the time

Attributes/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a life science or business discipline.

• Minimum two years in direct field sales, preferably in medical products.

• Prior experience selling O&P, Physical Therapy or Orthopaedic products highly desirable.

• Ability to work respectfully in a multicultural environment and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated work history of effectively and efficiently working in small teams.

• Strong organizational, analytical, task and time management skills

• Ability to work independently to achieve an agreed outcome.

• Must be able to maintain a rigorous travel schedule
