The Market Access team for Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia serves as the critical bridge between Sanofi's innovative therapies and patients across these key Southeast Asian markets. Operating within the broader Southeast Asia & India regional structure, our department combines local market expertise with global strategic frameworks to navigate the unique healthcare landscapes of each country.
As the Market Access Lead for Singapore & Malaysia, you will be responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies across these key markets to ensure optimal access to Sanofi's innovative products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to secure favorable pricing, reimbursement, and market access conditions for Sanofi's portfolio in Singapore and Malaysia.
Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute market access strategies for Singapore and Malaysia aligned with regional and global frameworks
Lead cross-functional alignment for market access strategies in both countries
Develop pricing and reimbursement strategies tailored to Singapore and Malaysia healthcare systems
Support strategic planning with data-driven insights specific to these markets
Stakeholder Management:
Represent Market Access at key decision-making forums in Singapore and Malaysia
Engage with critical external bodies including MOH Singapore, NICE Malaysia, and other healthcare authorities
Build and maintain relationships with key payers, providers, and decision-makers in both markets
Collaborate with local cross-functional teams including Commercial, Medical, Public Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs
Market Access Activities:
Adapt and execute global Market Access strategies for Singapore and Malaysia markets
Develop market-specific access deliverables and value propositions
Submit and negotiate HTA/reimbursement dossiers to relevant authorities in both countries
Submit price requests for local launches/changes
Monitor Singapore and Malaysia healthcare environments for access opportunities and threats
Evidence Generation & Value Communication:
Develop compelling value propositions for payers and decision-makers in both markets
Oversee development of health economic models relevant to Singapore and Malaysia healthcare systems
Ensure appropriate evidence generation to support market access in these countries
Develop value communication materials for key stakeholders
About You
Education & Experience:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, Business Administration or related field
Ideally 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or consulting company market access, pricing, or related roles
Specific experience in Singapore and/or Malaysia healthcare markets is an advantage
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful market access strategies
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of Singapore and Malaysia healthcare systems, HTA processes, and payer environments
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Experience in cross-functional team leadership
Business acumen and commercial awareness
Languages:
Fluent in English
Knowledge of Malay or other local languages is an advantage
