Electrical Technician
Roles & Responsibilities
Trainees with basic experience in electrical work are accepted. In-house training to advance skillset will be provided.
Roles and Responsibilities:
General
Ensuring that the relevant requirements for quality, environmental, occupational health, safety, and welfare are complied with at all times whilst performing duties on behalf of the Company.
Maintaining the equipment in the workshop, on Hydropro’s vessels, and at project sites.
Following the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Certification System to ensure that certification requirements are fulfilled.
Preventive Maintenance
Carrying out maintenance procedures on all plant and equipment provided for diving projects in accordance with local regulatory requirements, IMCA D018, and Design and Manufacturer recommendations.
Carrying out maintenance according to the master PMS schedule when required.
Ensuring that the efficiency of diving equipment is maintained, despite continuous operation, through ordinary/extraordinary maintenance and repairs.
Ensuring that all utilized project equipment are certified, are in suitable condition, and are properly stored.
Breakdown situations
Responding effectively in the event of equipment malfunction.
Following the company's and the manufacturer’s prescribed procedures in situations of equipment breakdown.
Responding quickly during an emergency, notifying appropriate personnel, and following safety protocol.
Other Duties
Preparing the equipment before each operation and being responsible for the mobilization/demobilization of diving spreads.
Specifying and ordering spares and additional equipment as required.
Assisting with the installation of equipment.
Assuming responsibility for diving store stock management, spare and consumables restocking, ordering equipment, documenting, and processing.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop.
Performing other maintenance duties as requested.
