Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Corporate Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you are responsible for developing, managing, and executing integrated communication strategies and editorial content to drive key messages across both internal and external audiences, aligned with the company's business priorities, in your respective domains.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing an integrated communication strategy aligned with the company's business priorities
- Developing and sustaining a compelling content development plan that drives impactful and relevant storytelling for the relevant markets and domains
- Developing sustained communications metrics to measure the initiatives' effectiveness, including writing or contributing to monthly reports and business reviews
- Partnering and managing relevant external agencies to execute an integrated communication strategy aligned with the company's business priorities
- Managing and responding to all incoming media inquiries, writing press releases, organizing media events, handling on-site media engagements, preparing media kits, and briefing spokespersons in your relevant areas of responsibilities
- Developing and implementing proactive media relations programs and strategies - across traditional and non-traditional channels.
- Supporting executive communications and speechwriting, including presentations, op-eds, and speaking opportunities for the senior leadership team, where appropriate and needed
- Serving as point of contact and the communications partner to Country Heads for Australia, Singapore and Malaysia as well as Heads of Partnerships and Public Policy & Governmental Relations (PPGR) teams
- Partnering with relevant teams as lead in the assigned markets and domains to deliver effective communications that support business objectives
- Guiding and coaching a team in support of our vision to grow into a world-class communications team
- Writing weekly media monitoring and analysis reports for the SLT
Requirements
- A minimum of bachelor's degree from a reputable University
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, preferably both agency and in-house
- Strong language skills, written and spoken, in English and Bahasa Indonesian. A third Asian language will be a plus
- Agile and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Outstanding writing and editing skills, with journalism writing style
- Deftness in identifying and enforcing the style, tone, and voice appropriate to the given task/project
- Top-notch organizational, communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills, and incredibly detail- and deadline-oriented
- Ease in collaborating positively and forming effective relationships with the senior leadership team, as well as across different Domains and functions, adjusting to meet deadline considerations
- Experience in working in the technology industry is a plus, as well as experience crafting statements for issues/crises
- Extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles, and experience in leadership positions within business environments.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, enabling effective support from a communications perspective.
- Proven track record of providing valuable communications support to various business functions (Partnership, Commercial, PPGR).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, compelling messaging for internal and external audiences.
- Proficient in managing diverse communication channels to enhance the organization's brand reputation and drive business results.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying communication opportunities and challenges within the business landscape.
- Proficiency in crisis communication management, reputation management, and media relations within a business context.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, leveraging technology to enhance communication strategies.
- Experience in digital content creation will be a plus
