About Woosa
At Woosa, we have spent close to a decade crafting the perfect sleep experience for Singapore’s bedrooms. Our journey has taken us through meticulous research, design, and the selection of the finest materials to create sleep products tailored to provide the best possible rest. We're on a mission to bring comfort and better sleep to every home through thoughtfully designed sleep products and a retail experience unlike any other. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Retail Operations Manager who shares our belief in quality, care, and culture—to lead our retail stores with both heart and precision.
Your Role
As the Retail Operations Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind Woosa’s in-store experiences. You’ll lead the operational excellence across all outlets, ensure every team member is set up for success, and help shape a culture of service, ownership, and pride. Beyond managing day-to-day tasks, you’ll play a key role in building systems, hiring the right people, and creating training frameworks that will support Woosa’s next chapter of growth.
This is a key leadership role reporting to the Head, People and Business.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations & SOPs
- Oversee daily retail operations across multiple outlets to ensure consistency, service quality, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement store SOPs—from opening checklists to customer journey protocols and after-sales processes.
- Conduct regular store audits and walkthroughs to ensure Woosa’s standards are consistently met.
Manpower Planning & Hiring
- Lead manpower planning, hiring, onboarding, and rostering to ensure optimal staffing levels at all outlets.
- Plan manpower coverage across showrooms based on foot traffic, sales trends, and seasonal needs.
- Build a strong pipeline of talent through structured interviews, trial shifts, and cultural fit assessments.
Training & Development
- Develop training materials for onboarding, product knowledge, CRM systems, and soft skills.
- Work closely with the Product Manager to roll out in-depth product training sessions—including new product launches, features, benefits, and customer use cases.
- Coach team leads and Sleep Specialists to deliver exceptional, personalised customer experiences.
- Establish a rhythm of learning and development through shadowing, workshops, and feedback systems.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Manage store inventory accuracy, replenishment cycles, and retail stock levels.
- Liaise with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock movements.
- Oversee retail stock take processes and SOP adherence to minimise shrinkage and errors.
Multi-Outlet Management
- Be a hands-on leader across all retail locations—motivating teams, identifying gaps, and rolling out best practices.
- Align store-level execution with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal strategies.
- Serve as the key link between HQ and outlets, ensuring two-way communication and operational clarity.
Culture & Leadership
- Create a culture that reflects Woosa’s values: customer care and service excellence.
- Set expectations, lead by example, and inspire the team to take pride in their work and space.
- Drive accountability and ownership while creating a safe, warm, and rewarding work environment.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
- Love building structure and clarity from the ground up.
- Have an eye for both details and big-picture improvement.
- Believe that great customer experience starts with great internal culture.
- Enjoy being on the ground, observing, coaching, and refining in real time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail operations, including multi-outlet management.
- Proven track record in hiring, SOP creation, and team development.
- Strong understanding of inventory processes and retail metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a people-first mindset.
- Proficient in retail systems, CRM, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
