The Assistant Manager / Manager, Trust Administration supports the realisation and advancement of the Company’s trust administration objectives, as well as the assets earmarking, trust application and administrative functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring the proper discharge of fiduciary duties and compliance with Company’s SOP, applicable regulations / procedures in the administration of trust accounts
  • Process trust applications and prepare trust-related documentations, ensuring that that they are complete and in order
  • Process asset injection / disbursement, maintain accounting records and reconciliation of the trust accounts
  • Process trust account termination and ensure that any residual trust funds are properly distributed
  • Liaise with Public Trustee’s Office, service providers, caregivers and other stakeholders on matters relating to trust accounts
  • Provide support in all trust administrative matters
  • Review and assess the applicability and adequacy of trust assets intended to be injected by clients and ensure proper documentation in the SNTC Portal
  • Formulate and execute follow-up plans to assist clients in nominating the assets intended to be injected into the trust
  • Follow up and secure possession of assets earmarked for trust accounts, enforcing all rights / claims against third parties where necessary
  • Assist in performing analysis and preparing asset earmarking-related status / statistical trends / issues and work with case managers to identify gaps and implement improvements
  • Undertake and perform other tasks and duties as assigned based on the Company's need
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
  • Degree, preferably in Business / Accounts / Finance; relevant professional qualifications (e.g. STEP) would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated hands-on knowledge in trust administration
