AutoCAD Drafter/Modeler
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter/Modeler with strong proficiency in Revit/Modeling and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MEP drafting and modeling, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce high-quality technical drawings and models for construction and design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit based on design specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate models on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Coordinate BIM models and manage project documentation using Revit and ACC.
- Revise and update drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and submission drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Assist with clash detection and coordination processes in a BIM environment.
- Support cross-discipline coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
- Maintain drawing libraries and ensure proper file naming and layer standards.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and Revit modeling – essential.
- Strong hands-on experience with Revit – MEP discipline, especially in piping.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) – model collaboration, document management, version control.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360, and clash detection tools is a plus.
- Understanding of construction drawings, technical detailing, and project workflows.
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural plans and convert them into working models.
- Strong attention to detail, file organization, and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience in construction or consultancy firms.
- Prior experience in BIM-based projects and the ACC platform is highly preferred.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
