Job Responsibilities :
Arrange collection and delivery of international air import freight shipments.
Manage operational, routing, and customer service aspects for all handled shipments.
Utilize a preferred network of truckers and vendors to offer cost-effective and reliable solutions based on rates and service levels.
Coordinate effectively with shippers, consignees, and air carriers to ensure timely movement of cargo.
Prepare and complete all necessary import documentation to maintain regulatory compliance.
Accurately enter import shipment details into the system.
Review and process shipping documents; follow up with origin offices for any clarifications or corrections to ensure smooth processing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure ongoing satisfaction and service excellence.
Provide import classification recommendations to customers with the appropriate approvals.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding import milestones, shipment status, and charges.
Stay within company guidelines when addressing customer concerns about shipments.
Escalate complex or uncommon customer issues to the appropriate manager for resolution when necessary.
Process billing and invoicing related to shipments accurately and in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.
Provide import classification recommendations to customers, with appropriate approvals.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the import operations team.
