DESIGNATION : Senior Security Officer/ Security Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance security operations and mitigate security risks and threats.
  • Partner with appointed security agencies to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations and compliance with security protocols.
  • Plan and conduct security operations audits.
  • Comply with Company Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and oversee all security-related activities in areas of assignment adhering to company policies, guidelines, and operating procedures, while maintaining full compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination within and across Departments.
  • Oversee the resolution of security-related inquiries, incidents, and emergencies to ensure the security of designated facilities.
  • Liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies on security-related matters.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of all security equipment and systems, including but not limited to access control, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, and metal detectors, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare of weekly and monthly activity reports along with security incident reports, if any.
  • Manage the issuance of passes for contractors.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum qualification of GCE ‘O' Level or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a security supervisory role with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Possess WSQ Certifications in "Monitoring & Reviewing Security Operations" and "Manage Security Agencies within the Legal Framework".
  • Valid PLRD Licence.
  • Certified as Port Facility Safety Officer (PFSO)
  • Proficiency in security technology systems (e.g., access control, visitor management system, CCTV surveillance system).
  • Ability to manage security matters outside of regular office hours on occasion.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Prior experience with uniformed groups (e.g. SPF) is preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to perform site walks periodically.
