Group Marketing Specialist - Brand Communications
Job Summary:
HBA’s Head Office in Singapore is seeking a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join our Group Marketing team as a Group Marketing Specialist – Brand Communications.
You will become part of a global, world-renowned, multi-winning hospitality design firm.
In this role, you will develop a cohesive brand communications plan that encompasses both internal and external communications, including digital engagement.
You will take an integrated approach to deliver multi-channel brand communications to our key stakeholders: customers, employees, business partners, and the media.
You will also support the broader Group Marketing initiatives, including strategy, positioning, storytelling, photography, graphic design, and knowledge management.
You will be highly organised and able to perform multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines.
You will be a natural collaborator, eager to lend a hand or an idea.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the external brand communications plan across all HBA marketing channels to raise brand awareness and strengthen HBA’s positioning and reputation. This includes content for social media, websites, client newsletters(bi-monthly), PR, and events.
- Support change management communications to ensure employees and stakeholders understand the company’s strategy and direction in an engaging and timely manner.
- Create and manage internal and employee brand communications plans that foster engagement and alignment across the organization.
- Collaborate with local marketing teams across HBA offices, providing guidance and support for the development of localised brand communications plans.
- Work closely with the Global Director of Marketing and HBA’s architects and designers to develop and refine thought leadership content, including articles and commentary.
- Partner with the Global Director of Marketing and Studio Leaders to identify compelling story angles for media outreach. Draft press materials such as press releases, media pitches, Q&As, and key messaging as needed.
- Coordinate with the Global Director of Marketing and appoint PR agencies to manage media interview opportunities. Support the development of briefing documents, talking points, and Q&A responses where required.
- Lead day-to-day marketing and brand activations, including managing content updates and news on the HBA website. Maintain HBA.com pages and handle inquiries across owned digital channels.
- Create and maintain campaign trackers to monitor social media performance.
- Manage and vet inbound media inquiries, including image requests.
- Track, monitor, and measure PR coverage. Organize and archive press articles as needed.
- Maintain the speaking opportunities tracker, manage incoming opportunities and deadlines, and support the development of talking points as required.
- Support the Global Director of Marketing and marketing communications teams in planning and coordinating events, including project launches and both internal and external functions.
- Assist with photoshoots—from planning and coordination to onsite support and uploading final imagery to asset management systems (e.g., Open Asset).
- Collect and share relevant market news for publication on the company intranet.
- Maintain and update media lists; research and add new journalist contacts as appropriate.
- Contribute to the creation of monthly marketing reports by tracking activities and results. Help compile press coverage, speaking opportunities, events, and award wins for the Monthly Marketing Report.
- Continuously seek to improve marketing performance by analysing data, capturing insights, and applying best practices.

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:
- 8 - 12 years of professional experience in a marketing position with a design or professional services firm, prior experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, or Business.
- Ability to lead conversations confidently and strategically, and collaborate closely with leadership on storytelling.
- Strong writing, editing, grammar, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to craft, prepare, and execute writing assignments under deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and impactful graphic design skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, knowledge of Google Slides, Keynote, and Miro is a plus.
- Proficiency in CMS, HubSpot, Pardot, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Fluent in English, oral and written.
