Responsible for day to day Operations and administration on network & security infrastructure
Responsible for firewall security appliances, routers and switches particularly trouble shooting and/or debugging network related problems.
Perform support, configuration and maintenance of network equipment and network operating System
Perform basic Linux administration and able to configure, manage network application.
Handle network projects and identify any missing components in the infrastructure and support future demands on the network infrastructure.
Good Knowledge troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution and/or resolution recommendation activities
Must have experience in managing of Checkpoint firewall, Extreme, HPE, Cisco, Aruba Switches.
Work with vendors to deliver the project scope and meeting project deadlines
Proactively monitor network performance, ensuring high network availability and smooth operations
Involve in Network and IT audit and adhere to security compliance and governance.
Perform evaluation, proof of concept and provide recommendations
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent
Must be CCNA certified, CCNP preferred
Working knowledge plus at least a year's experience in networking technologies like Structured Cabling, WAN, LAN, VPN, Network Security, Wireless, iBGP, eBGP, Routing Protocol, OSFP etc.
Hands on experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including cisco, Brocade routers, Dell enterprise and cisco switches, network firewall, IPS, SIEM, vulnerability assessment and monitoring tools
Experience in IPv6 and Data Centre operations an advantage
Familiarity with Linux (as a user and system), container technology, security concepts, project management and ITIL processes will be added bonuses
Familiar with Dense wavelength division multiplexing DWDM) is a plus.
Familiar with basic Linux administration is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
