What You’ll Do
As a Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in our café’s day-to-day operations. You’re the glue between floor and management — a leader who rolls up their sleeves and keeps service humming.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising FOH service, ensuring a smooth, high-energy flow during all shifts
Providing hands-on support during busy service periods
Acting as the first point of contact for guest feedback and handling escalations gracefully
Training, coaching, and guiding service staff with kindness and accountability
Supporting daily operational checklists, stock management, and opening/closing duties
Assisting the Service Captain and Assistant Manager in daily planning and briefings
Who You Are
We’re looking for a passionate service leader who embodies the Common Man values — approachable, respectful, positive, and obsessed with quality.
You’ll fit right in if you:
Have at least 2–3 years of experience in F&B, with supervisory responsibilities
Lead by example and are comfortable being “on the floor” with your team
Have great communication and problem-solving skills
Are confident handling POS systems and basic reporting
Understand the balance of great service and operational efficiency
Can commit to 5-day work weeks, including weekends and public holidays
