At Metta Preschool Punggol, we are dedicated to shaping brighter futures for children with special needs. Since 2010, we have been providing specialized early intervention programs for children aged 2 to 6 years old diagnosed or suspected with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorders (ASD), global developmental delay, and/or intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to maximize each child’s developmental potential and support them on their learning journey.

As an Early Intervention Teacher, the Key Responsibilities includes:

Implement the Metta Preschool curriculum to engage and support students.
Develop and prepare interactive learning materials to enhance early intervention programs.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and structured learning environment.
Observe and maintain student progress records to support individual development.
Collaborate with therapists and specialists to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Plan and organize interactive activities, outings, and enrichment programs for students.
Mentor and provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for new staff and interns.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and NCSS/MSF guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Head of Curriculum.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) (SDESN) preferred.
Experience in a preschool or early intervention setting is an advantage.
Passion for working with children with special needs.
Strong ability to collaborate within a team.
Hardworking, patient, and meticulous in lesson planning and execution.
Adaptable and committed to continuous learning.
