DESIGNATION : Engineer (Control & Instrumentation)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure maintenance work is executed effectively, efficiently and complied with safety and regulatory requirement.
  • Respond and attend to plant failures and forced outages to ensure timely and proper rectification and restoration.
  • Plan and ensure safe and timely execution of plant overhaul activities.
  • Recommend and implement modification, upgrading and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability and reliability improvement.
  • Manage the procurement of parts and services to meet the maintenance needs of the section, including spare parts and external services for routine and breakdown maintenance.
  • Lead and manage a team of technical officers and technicians.
  • Development of staff.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
  • Possesses sound knowledge of Control and Instrumentation and good working knowledge of safety and statutory requirements.
  • Driven self-starter with strong work ethics.
  • Team player with strong analytical, technology and communication skills.
  • Is available on standby after office hours for emergency calls.
  • Knowledge in cyber security will be advantageous.
  • Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behaviour.
  • Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
