Principal Solutions Architect Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:
- Develop and design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions for goverment and mission-critical projects.
- Define technical specifications, system workflows, and integration strategies for cloud, IoT, security, and access control solutions.
- Ensure compliance with government cybersecurity frameworks (IM8, GovTech standards, Zero Trust architecture, and PDPA requirements).
Government Tender Bidding & Pre-Sales:
- Lead end-to-end tender solutioning for government agencies, including MINDEF, DSTA, MHA, HTX, and Smart Nation initiatives.
- Develop tender proposals, prepare technical documentation, and deliver solution presentations.
- Work closely with business development teams, technology partners, and vendors to craft competitive and cost-effective proposals.
- Engage government stakeholders to understand operational requirements and align solutions to their needs.
Technology Innovation & Strategy:
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Provide expert recommendations on technology adoption for public sector digital transformation.
- Work with analytics teams to implement AI-driven insights, visualization dashboards (Power BI, Tableau), and automation solutions.
Project Execution & Risk Management:
- Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for enterprise IT solutions, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Manage project risks, compliance requirements, and security considerations for government projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and development teams to ensure successful implementation.
Key Requirements:
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise IT consulting, and government project delivery.
- Proven expertise in government tender bidding, proposal writing, and pre-sales for large-scale public sector projects.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, IoT, and access control solutions.
- Experience integrating AI, analytics, and automation into enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s government procurement processes (GeBIZ, IM8 compliance, GovTech standards) is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and PMP project management methodologies.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as PMP, CITPM, AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner, IT Architecture Core, or cybersecurity (CCSP, CISSP) are advantageous.
