  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

As the FP&A Director reporting to Chief Financial Officer at A*STAR, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning and analysis functions across the organization. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring the financial health of A*STAR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Lead the team in collaborating with business units to create comprehensive financial plans that create impact through strategic initiatives.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management, including early alerts on potential areas of concerns.
  • Provide leadership in driving efforts to strategically incorporate technology to enhance operational process efficiency and staff productivity.
  • Provide mentorship and curate development opportunities for staff to expand both their capacity and capability.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements

  • Preferably with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data visualization tools is advantageous
  • Able to stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
  • Able to work independently and in a team to deliver outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
