DESIGNATION : Intern, Strategy & Policy

RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance/Compliance/Risk Management

  • Collate information for reporting of organisational risk dashboard
  • Support planning and implementation of annual table-top exercise including developing scenarios and coordinating with teams
  • Assist in Board engagement activities, e.g. retreat, meetings
  • Support with the Annual Report publication
  • Provide any other support as needed

Corporate Planning

  • Support the annual work planning exercise including developing/refreshing strategies and coordination with teams
  • Assist in the development and implementation of knowledge management processes to improve access to and sharing of information across the organisation
  • Help with stakeholder engagements as needed including coordination of partner bilateral meetings and multi-agency meetings
  • Support quarterly KPI reporting including coordination with teams and analysis of input received
  • Provide any other support as needed

Others

  • Work with cross-functional teams to follow-up on and collate information
  • Coordinate with teams on timeline and communication matters
  • Prepare and assist in facilitation of planning meetings with teams and liaising with the relevant departments as part of stakeholder engagement
  • Support the preparation of documents and submissions to the Board/Leadership Team


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Penultimate year student, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in liberal arts or in multi-disciplinary studies.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills and, use it to support and drive strategic plans
  • Go-getter and willing to take risk with the department
  • Ability to communicate effectively in all mediums
  • Ability to work independently as well as with teams
  • Able to think laterally and big picture with clarity
  • Keen learner, resourceful and self-directed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible with start date as long the intern can intern with us from September to November.
